"A World Called Shadow" #Poetry w/Kellie Pickler’s “Someone Somewhere Tonight” #The LoveOf MyLife #Shadows #MUSICVIDEO #DianaMarySharpton

Introduction:

I won’t lie to you. We aren’t going to ride off into the sunset together and have everything fixed overnight. I know that, and I think you do too. But I’m willing to work at it, if you are. I do love you. I mean that with every cell in my body, every breath that I take. I think you’re worth it. I think we’re worth it. I think you could be the great love of my life.”

― Victoria Michaels

A World called "Shadow"

She inhabits a world called “Shadow”, a restricted space between darkness and light.
Somewhere spirits seize the soul; a perception continual to sight.
A beauty, it’s said, angular face, velvet eyes, voluptuous and definitely not thin!
Her hair’s long and honeydew, tall, but very keen, as she glances out at luminosity, peeking in.

A cathedral dome echoes long strides on the cobbled thoroughfare, a gateway to be.
Protection’s on its north, a usual edict and to the south, journey, stimulation and a possibility.
She dances transversely over impediments griped by silhouettes, restrained and controlled.
To a sunlit courtyard, pink lilies, music it fills and exhilaration shines inward and bold.

Occasionally reflecting on a world between hush and expression, where she lives in virtual captivity but not alone.

I have selected Kellie Pickler’s Someone Somewhere Tonight(2) which was initially release as a single in 2013. It is the 12th track in her album titled "The Woman I Am". Kellie is a country singer, songwriter from Albemarie, North Carolina.

I am listing the lyrics below for your reading pleasure.

"Someone Somewhere Tonight"(3)
Someone somewhere tonight
Is taking their first steps
Letting go of the hands that held them
And trusting themselves

While someone somewhere tonight
Is hearing their last rites
And hoping with all their might
That there's something else

Well, babe, lie down here beside me
And let's lie real still
And tell me you love me
And you always will

Someone somewhere tonight
Is tasting their first kiss
Whispering softly this wish
For the night to go on

While someone somewhere tonight
Is holding on to a bottle
Pouring one more and praying that God will
Get them through 'til the dawn

Well, babe, lie down here beside me
And let's lie real still
And tell me you love me
And you always will

Someone somewhere tonight
Is stuck in a prison
And they're breathing, they're just barely living
Behind walls of their own

But someone somewhere tonight
Just found their own wings
Found some beauty, found some truth, found some meaning
In spite of it all

Well, babe, lie down here beside me
And let's lie real still
And tell me you love me

And you always will

Remember these are my words, my thoughts, my music and my language. I hope you enjoyed this music selection as much as I did and have a brilliant day or evening whichever that may be.

Have a great week-end!

Peace Diana
I love you back and that is forever... not matter what... I won't change my mind... believe that
