The Wolf’s Wind #POETRY & I Choose Love ~ Shawn Gallaway #MUSICVIDEO w/ #PHOTOGRAPHY ~ Diana Mary Sharpton

People usually consider walking on water or on thin air a miracle.
But I think the real miracle
is not to walk either on water or in thin air,
but to walk on earth.

Every day we are engaged in a miracle
which we don't even recognize:
a blue sky,
white clouds,
green leaves,
the black, curious eyes of a child --
our own two eyes.
All is a miracle.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

I dedicate this post to love and friendship, may it enter your life and never leave!

The Wolf’s Wind

It’s been days since we quarreled; collapsing in artless heaves,
and the last thing said: “If that’s how you feel, I’ll leave”,
the door slammed,
and l was left to a silence so thick I couldn’t breathe.

My pain was instant…
because the words you don’t hear me say:
You are the love of my life, I won’t throw that way.”
Days became nights and I slept through it all,
except, there was a “devastation” mentioned, I recall.

Next thing I know there’s a hollowed knock at my door,
where I found a basket of flowers, a note saying “forgive me” and more,
looking up to the man I love who’s standing before me,
as grief vanished, hailed a cab, leaving a spot for glee,
yet I could see a terrible sadness to his heart, needing my embrace,
so, I obliged, took his hand and collectively waning without a trace.

A tale was shared…
One of a mortal injury to this man, who now’s bleeding deep inside,
lamenting quietly on how “A thousand days just vanished before my eyes”,
I console him with the love that lives within this soul,
and there are joyful times yet others where his heart turns ice cold.

The question’s why?
Like he said, “My dear, the man I was yesterday died,
I’m lost, confused, at the cross roads of my life.
What am I supposed to do?
Hang it all up to peddle shoes??”

So tenderly with patience I say…
The only thing that’s lost is the time of day,
you’re brilliant, with a spirited heart in that of the wolf’s wind,
take my hand, my dearest love and know destiny will mend,
humble your heart, to those that care and let kindness come in.
