The Escape Club's “Wild Wild West #REDLiPSTICK #LIVINGITUP #MUSICVIDEO #DianaMarySharpton

Wild Wild West (1)

Introduction:

The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”

― Eleanor Roosevelt

This morning, payday, I am featuring a group from London, England that goes by the public name The Escape Club. Their music has an Alternative, Pop music genre and the song being featured was one of their 1988 hit’s titled Wild Wild West(2). Their album titled “Wild Wild West”, released Atlantic Records in 1988, hit Gold in the US. The video is creative and fun, a great “SATURDAY” selection and it was uploaded to YouTube on Oct 2, 2006 by Trevor Steel.

I have included the lyrics below for your reading pleasure.

Wild Wild West(3)
Forty seven dead beats living in the back street
North, east, west, south, all in the same house
Sitting in a back room, waiting for the big boom
I'm in a bedroom waiting for my baby

She's so mean but I don't care
I love her eyes and her wild, wild hair
Dance to the beat that we love best
Heading for the nineties
Living in the wild, wild west
The wild, wild west (wild west)

Well, Mandy's in the backroom, handing out Valium
Sheriff's on the airwaves, talking to the D.J.'s
Forty seven heartbeats beating like a drum
Got to live it up, live it up, Ronnie's got a new gun

She's so mean but I don't care
I love her eyes and her wild, wild hair
Dance to the beat that we love best
Heading for the nineties
Living in the wild, wild west
The wild, wild west (wild west) Yeow

Now put your flags in the air and march them up and down
You can live it up, live it up all over the town
And turn to the left, turn to the right
I don't care as long as she comes tonight

She's so mean but I don't care
I love her eyes and her wild, wild hair
Dance to the beat that we love best
Heading for the nineties
Living in the wild, wild west
The wild, wild west
The wild, wild west (wild west)
Yeow, wild west

Brrrr, here come a musical disc
'Cause some people them a-keep waitin' for
This one's called the outlaw, wow
They want me
Ride the rhythm like me ridin' a bike
Shine on me
Murder me chatter when me chat on the mic
Shorties thought this could keep them rockin' 'til the broad daylight
And here comes the Escape Club to rock it all night, say

Live it up, live it up
Live it up, live it up

Living in the wild, wild west
The wild, wild west
The wild, wild west
The wild, wild west
(Wild west)

Heading for the nineties, living in the eighties
Screaming in a back room, waiting for the big boom
Give me, give me wild west, give me, give me safe sex
Give me love, give me love, give me time to live it up

Now put your flags in the air and march them up and down
You can live it up, live it up all over the town
And turn to the left, turn to the right
I don't care as long as she comes tonight

She's so mean but I don't care
I love her eyes and her wild, wild hair
Dance to the beat that we like best
Heading for the nineties
Living in the wild, wild west
The wild, wild west
The wild, wild west (wild west)

Yeow, wild west

"The Car Door" #POETRY with Amanda Marshall "Trust me (this is love)" #LovU #MusicVideo #DianaMarySharpton #Trust

Driving Off into the Sunset by Cindi Smith (1)

Introduction:

Loving someone is giving them the power to break your heart, but trusting them not to.”

― Julianne Moore

The Car Door

It was a dark morning, over cast; you’ve seen it all before
Ominous, chilly but still, I walked out to open the car door
Coffee is around the corner, oh thank goodness, for that!
Still, unsettled, and little lost; finding recompense, in “gentle” facts

So many worries, keep creeping in and out of this heavy soul
Fighting a moody nature; ignoring turbulence that’s uncontrolled
As if to drown out all this hesitation; thoughts, speak to my heart
Over and over they say… Be Bold! Loves’ risk for you today starts

Because there are…
Those wishes, fanciful yearnings, and endless moments swarming all about
Even when the bills driving you to the same place every morning bring doubt
Planning, analyzing and time well spent; as the workday flew by
It was different, and I won’t speak on why

By the end of the day…
I was joyful shrugging off this morning’s skeptical mood
Thinking: all this time spent running, hiding from what a heart already knew
So, a journey begins without fear or worrying about what happens along the way
In faith that a heart’s truth sheds light to query irrespective of weather affecting the day

To accompany this poem I have selected a brilliant melody sung by Amanda Marshall titled
"Trust Me (This Is Love)"(2) published on YouTube by Lisa M on Nov 26, 2007. Amanda was born in Canada and her genre is soft rock/R&B. The Lyrics have also been listed below.

"Trust Me (This Is Love)"(3)
I look at this mountain
So many heart aches wide
And I can't help but wonder
Where's the other side
I've got to be honest
I've got my doubts
These tears are asking me
What's this got to do with love?
Baby, I'll tell you something
To help us through this long, dark, night

[Chorus]
When this trouble passes over
You and I will walk away
Knowing that our love survived
Another test of faith
You and I can walk on water
The river rises, we rise above
It may not look that way right now
But trust me, baby....this is love.

Love isn't easy
I'm torn, I confess
When a heart is uncertain
It's bound to second guess
This love won't forsake us
So dry your tears I promise you

[Chorus]

I'm here for you baby
There's nothing I want more
Our day is coming
And we'll reach that peaceful shore

[Chorus]
When this trouble passes over
You and I will walk away
Knowing that our love survived
Another test of faith
Cause you and I can walk on water
The river rises, we rise above
It may not look that way right now
But trust me, baby...this is love
One more mountain
Hey...so what?
Trust me baby...this is love

Oh yes it is babe

This is love

Thank you for your continued support and I hope you have a blessed and marvelous weekend.

Diana Mary Sharpton

I love and trust you...
