It’s My Love #POETRY w/Liz McClarnon - "Woman In Love" #Musicvideo #DianaMarySharpton

Introduction:
I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me, who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naïve or innocent, who has the courage to treat me like a woman. ― Anaïs Nin

It’s My Love

To say “I love you” is not a trivial pastime
At least words inbetween yours and mine
They’re seconds into the break of a red dawn
And they’re the right path snubbing all that’s wrong

It’s my love! To all that’s you,
Regardless of time or who approves.
It’s selfless, poutless,
Thoughtful, gentle and concerned,
It’s forthright; a desire 1000 years this heart has yearned.

It’s not yesterday, tomorrow but the now,
I can’t quit it or leave it, just because you may not see it.
It’s my love! And I’m the one that feels it.
So If I said “I loved you” would you even accept it!?
