London Grammar - "Rooting For You" #MUSICVIDEO #DianaMarySharpton. #MyLov4UIsTimeless

Introduction:

Grethe KaspserseIntroduction
You are beautiful like demolition. Just the thought of you draws my knuckles white. I don’t need a god. I have you and your beautiful mouth, your hands holding onto me, the nails leaving unfelt wounds, your hot breath on my neck. The taste of your saliva. The darkness is ours. The nights belong to us. Everything we do is secret. Nothing we do will ever be understood; we will be feared and kept well away from. It will be the stuff of legend, endless discussion and limitless inspiration for the brave of heart. It’s you and me in this room, on this floor. Beyond life, beyond morality. We are gleaming animals painted in moonlit sweat glow. Our eyes turn to jewels and everything we do is an example of spontaneous perfection. I have been waiting all my life to be with you. My heart slams against my ribs when I think of the slaughtered nights I spent all over the world waiting to feel your touch. The time I annihilated while I waited like a man doing a life sentence. Now you’re here and everything we touch explodes, bursts into bloom or burns to ash. History atomizes and negates itself with our every shared breath. I need you like life needs life. I want you bad like a natural disaster. You are all I see. You are the only one I want to know.” ― Henry Rollins

Love this soulful vibe and video premiere by London Grammar, titled “Rooting for You(2). London Grammar is a British trio formed by Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman and Dominic 'Dot' Major back in 2012 "Rooting for You" is their new single released January 1, 2017. It primarily features lead singer Hannah Reid and she is brilliant with a sultry tone and huge vocal range.

The song begins acapella, where Hannah appears to be alone in a darkened room; however, as the music crescendos the lights come on illuminating the remaining members of the band and a symphony orchestra. The conclusion of the video speaks to the song's message. It is a dramatic and powerful piece.

The music video was produced by Sonya Sier and Zoe Wheeler and publish on YouTube Dec 31, 2016 by LondonGrammarVEVO. The groups musical genres are listed as Pop, neo prog trip hop, dream pop, electronica, and indie pop; however, to me this song seems transitional, more of a Blues genre with neo-soul influences. I highly recommend this exquisite music and I have list the lyrics below for your reading pleasure.

“Rooting for You" (3)
Let winter break
Let it burn 'til I see you again
I will be here with you
Just like I told you I would
I'd love to always love you
But I'm scared of loneliness
When I'm, when I'm alone with you
[Chorus]
I know it's hard
Only you and I
Is it all for me?
Because I know it's all for you
And I guess, I guess
It is only, you are the only thing I've ever truly known
So, I hesitate, if I can act the same for you
And my darlin', I'll be rooting for you
And my darlin', I'll be rooting for you
[Verse 2]
And where did she go?
Truth left us long ago
And I need her tonight because I'm scared of loneliness with you, baby
And I should let it go
But all that is left is my perspective, broken and so left behind again
[Chorus]
I know it's hard
Only you and I
Is it all for me?
Because I know it's all for you
And I guess, I guess
It is only, you are the only thing I've ever truly known
So, I hesitate, if I can act the same for you
And my darlin', I'll be rooting for you
And my darlin', I'll be rooting for you

Thank you for your continued support. I pray you are having a blessed evening or morning and that you enjoyed this selection as much as I did.

Peace and Love Always Diana
You exist in my soul; NOT as solitude but as radiance.
