Obama's Ratings Remain Unchanged #OPINION

President Obama by Adam Zygis (1)

My political Rant:

This weekend on I watched NBC-Meet the Press with David Gregory and their guest was Mitch Mcconnell, Minority Leader of the Senate. His comments about the White House and the president in particular being a bully and using strong armed tactics (harassment) on various government groups to influence and or move into action pursuant to his agenda, left me perplexed. It was the way he kept going OVER and OVER the same point that got me thinking he was definitely trying to convey an agenda and submit a “Bait and Switch” tactic/plan of his own.

Wow, folks! A president that is actually trying to drive a do nothing congress/senate to legislate for the better good of their constituents (i.e. The American People)! I don’t think President Obama had anything to do with the IRS’s harassment of conservative groups. Might I suggest that the IRS acted in revenge on their own and were just getting back for the conservative oversight “power impediments” that were enacted upon a few years ago by the senate (i.e. government (bureaucrats) do have memories and yes this was unethical and possibly criminal). It sounds like the President is doing his job and on this point, which is not just my outlook on the situation; however, it is the opinion of a majority of Americans according to the most recent published polls (see below). What is almost hilarious is that President Obama has technically climbed in the polls, after all this negative press bashing and deck stacking.

So, let’s write to those DO NOTHING congress/senate men and women that you elected and please remind them to start working on issues that are considered moving forward such as - Immigration, Gun Control and NOT repealing medical services for all Americans which was already passed.

According to the Huffington Post (1):
“Rating -- the CNN/ORC and ABC/Washington Post surveys, plus another national poll released on Tuesday by the American Research Group and the ongoing daily tracking surveys from Gallup and Rasmussen Reports, show virtually no net change in Obama's job rating since April. An average of the five polls rounds to 50 percent in April and 50 percent last week. [Pollster chart]

IRS and Benghazi controversies are potentially damaging - Yet the recent controversies roiling Washington present the "potential for significant damage" to the Obama administration, according to the Post/ABC poll: "Americans by a vast 74-20 percent see the IRS' behavior as inappropriate, with most feeling that way strongly -- and 56 percent see it as a deliberate attempt to harass conservative organizations, not a mere administrative error. The public divides on whether or not the administration is honestly disclosing what it knows about the IRS' actions; 45 percent suspect a cover-up, 42 percent instead see full transparency...Further, on the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, last fall, suspicions of a cover-up rise to a majority, 55 percent. And in this case only a third of Americans are persuaded that the Obama administration is disclosing honestly what it knows about what.“

There is really nothing more to say except, I know I am voting against any and all “ENCUMBANT” political positions in my area! This is where we need change.

Peace Diana
