A Great Movie - The Butler #MOVIE #REVIEW

The Butler (1)
Yesterday I was treated to the movie “The Butler” which is a 2013 American historical drama based on the life journey of Cecil Gaines. The move was quite impressive and showed detailed life snippets of Cecil’s high and low points starting from childhood. He eventually went on to serve as a butler under eight presidents, in the White House, during tremulous times like the civil rights movement, Vietnam War, and Water Gate. The movie brings in all this history and how it affected the main character in the required quiet butler role he endured over a life time. It’s a long film running over two hours so make sure you have enough popcorn and soda. Two weeks since its release and I had to go to three theaters to finally get a seat but definitely worth all the running around.

The film is directed by Lee Daniels, written by Danny Strong, and featuring an amazing ensemble cast which I am only going to feature a couple. You can always look them up on the web:

Oprah Winfrey - (Gloria Gaines) played an amazing sexy misunderstood drunk mother and wife. I believed and loved her performance.

Forest Whitaker - (Cecil Gaines) delivered a compelling performance of which transfixed me back “into and through time”. He allowed me to speculate on what it was like to be in Cecil Gaines shoes; just a good solid performance that was emotionally engaging. It’s like he gave his heart and soul on this one.

Michael Rainey Jr. - Cecil Gaines reminded me of my own twenty year old children so hello he was good!

Cuba Gooding Jr.- Carter Wilson always delivers emotion and believably….just loved him.

If you have a chance to see this movie, check it out! I promise you will not be disappointed.

Julio Iglesias Jr in Finally Found You ft. Sammy Adams

Julio Iglesias Jr (1)
Wow what a day! I picked up this video by chance and it reached out catching my sensual eye. I don’t think I have ever featured Julio Iglesias Jr. on my blog before. I know I have featured his father. Jr. is one HOT papi with that hair and abs…Oh! My! And this video I bet some of you…like me will do a rewind, rewind, rewind…and then some!

Let me promote the song properly. It looks like it was released back in Oct. 2012. The video starts off in a “G” version scene focused on young puppy love between a kid and a young teenage girl, this was the point where I almost “Moved On”. It didn't get it at first and then about five seconds into the view, it start to happen folks. It’s about fantasy, first love and chemistry and Jr.’s body makes you just want to drive in there with him…

My one comment is that this video did not gain major traction or become a mega success because it was probably misunderstood and the tune sounds familiar almost an Adam Levine sound; I don’t know but there it is. It’s the intro…what do you think? Your comments are greatly appreciated.

Oh! It would be helpful if I named the song, right! Okay so here we go, the title of the song I am featuring tonight by Julio Iglesias Jr, is "Finally Found You ft. Sammy Adams"(2). Please let me know what you think!!!
