Amy Winehouse "Back to Black" & "Stronger than Me' & Yours" #MUSICVIDEO

Amy Winehouse (1)
My second post for this evening is featuring Amy Winehouse. I struggled finding a photograph on her that was decent and not all torn up. She had an extraordinary talent but ultimately allowed the industry to gobble her up and spit her out. It’s a shame and I loved her music. Her genre was considered a mixed bag of R&B, soul, jazz, ska and reggae.

Tonight I am going to feature two videos by request. The first one is “Back to Black(2) which definitely show cases her very special wide-range vocal talent. The second video is titled “stronger than me' & yours"(3). She looks fresh and young in this video. It must have been before she started doing drugs. Amazing!!

Angie Stone "No More Rain" #MUSICVIDEO #DianaMarySharpton

There are a hundred things she has tried to chase away the things she won't remember and that she can't even let herself think about because that's when the birds scream and the worms crawl and somewhere in her mind it's always raining a slow and endless drizzle.

You will hear that she has left the country, that there was a gift she wanted you to have, but it is lost before it reaches you. Late one night the telephone will sign, and a voice that might be hers will say something that you cannot interpret before the connection crackles and is broken.

Several years later, from a taxi, you will see someone in a doorway who looks like her, but she will be gone by the time you persuade the driver to stop. You will never see her again. Whenever it rains you will think of her.

I took a few days off from blogging and everything else just in case you missed me, LOL! I was under the weather so to speak but I’m feeling much better and with a douse of some R&B, this girl’s ready to go again. During this period of convalescents, I can honestly say that the Richardson, Texas weather has been just marvelous and it definitely helped me with this speedy recovery. I am going to try publishing two posts tonight. My second post is a request from a Google friend, so most definitely, I'm going to give it a Diana effort.

My first post for this evening is appropriately based on one’s internal barometer or titled “No More Rain(2) which was originally release back in 1999 and sung by Angie Stone. Her music is straight up a traditional R&B genre. I am, also, including a second video titled “Wish I Didn’t Miss You(3) which was initially release in 2001.

I do hope the bug has not nipped you’re backside like it did me and that you’re having a blessed evening or morning. I cannot get used to the fact that some folks are eight hours ahead or behind. I hope you enjoy this music as much as I do it’s classic.Thank you for your continued support. Remember music is a language and these are my thoughts tonight.

Peace and Love always
