How to Love a Woman (1)

"If thou must love me, let it be for naught except for love's sake only."

~Elizabeth Barrett Browning

It’s is the end of a quiet weekend and a 1970’s hit by LOBO, Jr from Tallahassee, Florida, feels like the right music for this afternoon. He is a singer-songwriter and the song I am featuring afternoon appears on his album “Of a Simple Man” which was, released as a single in the fall of 1972, "I'd Love You to Want Me" (2). This song was LOBO’s highest charting hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The video was uploaded on YOUTUBE Mar 19, 2010, by TheVideoJukebox and is considered a Pop rock genre.

I have added the lyrics for your reading pleasure.

"I'd Love You To Want Me" (3)
When I saw you standing there
I bout fell out my chair
And when you moved your mouth to speak
I felt the blood go to my feet.

Now it took time for me to know
what you tried so not to show
Now something in my soul just cries
I see the want in your blue eyes.

Baby, I'd love you to want me
The way that I want you
The way that it should be
Baby, you'd love me to want you
The way that I want to
If you'd only let it be.

You told yourself years ago
You'd never let your feeling show
The obligation that you made
For the title that they gave.

Thank you for your continued support. I pray you are having a blessed evening!

Peace and Love Always Diana
I want you Sugar... all the time...
