Introduction:
“Love arrives
and in its train come ecstasies
old memories of pleasure
ancient histories of pain.
Yet if we are bold,
love strikes away the chains of fear
from our souls” ~ Maya Angelou Touched by an Angel
Candles
Candles lite,
a breath seduces wine,
in an atmosphere contrived,
which arises the saccharine divine.
Smiling eyes,
no words uttered.
Fervor envelops a gentle tally,
inane dialogue sentient; as bodies rally.
Music plays,
thick sensual sounds,
easing awkward coyness,
in ticks hastening thoracic slowness.
Fingers,
find skin,
and heat interlocks.
Is it all prematurely sought?
I think not!
Lips adroitly placed,
inquisitively wet to taste,
tenderly as there is no time to waste.
