Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.
― Oscar Wilde

Sometimes one comes across a piece of art, photograph, poem or even music that enters the soul and lives there for the rest of your life. It’s a moment distinguished by people, the surrounding and a specific point in life that truncates everything else. It defines you and this day, week or hour with all of these elements is marked in your memory.

I have had many of these moments in hind sight. They all seemed to be solemnized by one form art or another. I wrote my first poem titled “Black & Blue” when I was seventeen after a vicious argument with my mother. Everything in that day is remembered clearly. The emotions, the growth and maturity that followed. Subsequent to this particular day, I can list hundreds that followed, pain, self-doubt, sadness, sorrow, happiness, joy, love and passion. I say art is a memorable part of living.

As an artist, I find the struggle to be seen, heard, understood, respected and remembered in this manner the ultimate insurmountable feat. So, I applaud all those individuals (artist) who gave me lasting memories and inspirations whether they are mega stars, passed, living or just the guy on the street corner, they all have touched my soul.

My music selection this evening, on a Monday, is an artists that knocked my socks off playing music on the street corner.  He name Is Cal Morris and the violin music he plays brilliantly is titled “The Prayer”. It is a Pop classical genre and was originally a duet sung by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli in early 1999. Uploaded on YouTube by Cal Morris Music and it was published on Jan 2, 2016.

You can find background on Cal Morris

I hope you like this selection as much as I do and have a blessed evening or morning. Thank you for your continued support. Remember music is a language and these are my thoughts tonight.

Peace and Love always
